| The members of the Executive Board are appointed by the Board of Directors. The Executive Board comprises the CEO of Swisscom Ltd, the head of each of the group divisions, the CEO of Swisscom IT Services Ltd and the heads of the business divisions of Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd.
Under the Articles of Incorporation, the Executive Board comprises one or more members who may not simultaneously be members of the Board of Directors. In exceptional circumstances only, temporary membership of the Board of Directors is permitted. Accordingly, the Board of Directors has delegated responsibility for overall executive management of Swisscom Ltd to the CEO. The CEO is entitled to delegate his powers to a subordinate, in particular to other members of the Executive Board.
