| As a Swiss company, Swisscom has a responsibility towards the environment and society in Switzerland. Our actions bear witness to this responsibility every day of our working lives. For example, we save energy by cooling our telephone exchanges with outside air ("Mistral" project). And we are connecting all Swiss schools to the Internet - for free. We support the protection of minors in the media and offer our customers low-radiation cordless telephones (Ecomode plus) and pro-climate services with which they can reduce CO2 (conferencing). We give old mobile phones a new lease of life in the Solidarcomm project. And we work with strong partners such as the WWF.
