The Museum of Transport focuses on everything that moves. Transportation and mobility on the water, on land and in the air as well as the basic principles of message traffic and communication. An exhibition area of around 20,000 m2 holds more than 3000 objects which bear witness to an eventful history or tell of challenges yet to come in the areas of transport and communication.

The Media Factory is a relatively new addition to the Museum of Transport. Here schoolchildren can produce their own radio spots, practice their skills as a "10vor10" moderator or sports commentator and put together their own news programme. School classes can produce their own content such as TV spots and take them home or have them sent to their home. With a combination of the blue box, news desk and programme direction, entire programme sequences can be created. Thanks to the professional assistance and collaboration of SRG SSR idée suisse, the Media Factory makes it possible to gain an in-depth insight into the subject of mobility using state-of-the-art media.

Would you like to try this experience with your class? And to see a film in IMAX Theatre Lucerne? Every week, Swisscom offers tickets to the Museum of Trasnport and a projection IMAX to two classes. So you can book immediately the school kit with the 20 free tickets!
