iCloud – data always available

Products concerned: iPhone 3GS , iPhone 4 , iPhone 4S

iCloud is the easiest way to manage all your data. The service saves and manages your music, photos, apps, mails, contacts, calendar, documents and lots more. iCloud interacts seamlessly with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac or PC to save content in iCloud and push it onto all end devices. As soon as content changes on one device, all the other devices are updated automatically and wirelessly.

On its website Apple provides a extensive information package with full details of iCloud.

iCloud via a Swisscom hotspot

With iOS 5 and a surfing subscription, you are automatically connected to the Internet via a Swisscom hotspot. If you do not wish this, e.g. to prevent larger data volumes being transmitted when using iCloud or during automatic software updates, you can deactivate the "Connect automatically" function, if you are connected to a hotspot.
