On www.tv.admin.ch the Federal Chancellery streams the press conferences of the Bundesrat (Swiss National Council) live from the media centre at the Bundeshaus (federal parliament building) in Bern. This portal also gives the public access on-demand to the media conferences which have been archived since November 2003.

The former Solutionpark AG developed the software platform. By combining existing services provided by Swisscom Event & Media Solutions and Swisscom Broadcast we have been able to achieve an improved solution for the customer. In other words, we now provide the Federal Chancellery with the entire service, end-to-end from the media centre, from a single source: in the media centre the SRG SSR transfers the signal to a Broadcast Highway Access. From that point onwards we take care of everything through to streaming onto the Internet.
