As a future-oriented company, taking action and managing our company in an environmentally-friendly and conscious manner are crucial. In this way, we ensure that legal and social requirements are fulfilled.

We have been carrying out systematic environmental management for several years. We have clear objectives as well as a way of measuring efficiency that makes us comparable to other companies.

We maintain an environmental management system and are ISO 14001-certified.

Mistral now at Swisscom Broadcast

Currently, we are involved in the topic of Mistral throughout Swisscom – a concept for reducing the power consumed by cooling processes. Using Mistral, the technical equipment in the large transmission locations is cooled with outside air for the entire year instead of with air conditioners, as was the case until now. Outside air is supplied through an opening in the façade. The hot air is vacuumed off directly by fixtures and released outdoors via exhaust fans. We want to convert 35 transmission locations by 2014 – currently, five locations have been "mistralised".
