Middle school students have already developed a high level of proficiency when it comes to dealing with new media. Some individuals are even Internet experts and could share their knowledge in the classroom. Why not switch roles and let a school group present a lesson about IT? The Chat lesson, for example. The Internet SchoolNetGuide (SNG) can also be used for individual lessons: sections of the SNG "Searching successfully" also lend themselves to research: once you've worked through the section on research, you can divide the class into three groups and let each group perform searches in the library, on the Internet or using swissdox. The results are then presented and compared in front of the class. The enter guide shows how to support children and young people in the world of digital media.
