The secondary school II level is heterogeneous: the needs of a high school are different from those of a middle school. Swisscom tries to create offers that can be widely used. At the forefront, of course, is swissdox, the newspaper archive, where schools can search in all newspapers in Switzerland free of charge. Or, the Internet "SchoolNetGuide" that builds bridges between beginners and experts. Even though the target group is teachers and parents, the brochures can also be interesting for students and other readers. The new enter guide shows how to support young people with their media consumption and pinpoints the difficulties when using digital media independently.

School classes compete against each other

SWITCH runs the Junior Web Award (JWA), an annual competition which involves school groups setting up websites. The JWA is being run for the 4th time in the 2009/10 school year with three age categories. Entries should be submitted by 31 March 2010 and will be judged by a professional jury in May 2010.
