Following the sell-out period, the remaining shares of Fastweb will be successfully transferred to Swisscom. With effect of today, Fastweb will be delisted from Borsa Italiana and Swisscom will own Fastweb in full.

Swisscom acquires Swiss operating and service business from Siemens Enterprise Communications
Swisscom took over the entire existing operating and service business of Siemens Enterprise Communications AG in Switzerland with its 18 employees. Siemens Enterprise Communications is a leading provider of end-to-end solutions for corporate communications.

Swisscom Hospitality acquires Wayport's EMEA business
In April 2010 Hospitality Services Plus SA announced the acquisition of Wayport Holdings A/S. Wayport is an AT&T Group company and provides hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with network-based guest services.

Swisscom acquires Credit Suisse subsidiary WECO
On 1 November 2009 Swisscom acquired the debt collection company WECO Inkasso AG, a subsidiary of Credit Suisse. The company specialises in the collection of loss certificates and receivables on behalf of banks.

Swisscom IT Services acquires Resource Group AG
Swisscom IT Services acquired Resource Group AG in the Glattzentrum (canton of Zurich), managing the SAP specialist firm as an independent subsidiary and under its own name. Seventy-five SAP specialists from Swisscom IT Services transferred to Resource Group AG.

Swisscom IT Services acquires majority stake in Sourcag
Swisscom IT Services moved into the BPO business (Business Process Outsourcing) and acquired a 60 per cent stake in Sourcag AG, making it the majority shareholder. The previous owners, BKB and BLKB, still hold a 20 per cent stake each.

At the end of 2008 Swisscom acquired a 100 per cent stake in coComment B.V. Holding. coComment provides a Web-based service for managing online comments and discussions such as blogs.
 

Purchase of The Phone House AG retail chain
At the end of March 2008 Swisscom Switzerland signed an agreement with The Phone House AG to purchase the company's retail chain in Switzerland. The deal was completed on 1 July 2008 following the approval of the Federal Competition Commission on 3 June 2008.

On 1 January 2008 Swisscom Directories acquired PubliGroup's full shareholding in local.ch AG, a regional Swiss search engine.
 

Acquisition of 35% share in Transmedia
On 24 May 2007 Swisscom acquired a 35% share in the video-on-demand specialist Transmedia. The purchase of shares in the Geneva-based enterprise marked a further step in Swisscom's alignment as a multimedia provider.

Acquisition of 82.4% shares in Fastweb
During an offer period for Fastweb shares lasting between 10 April 2007 and 15 May 2007 Fastweb shareholders sold a total of 80.7% of Fastweb's share capital at a price of EUR 47 .The total purchase price was EUR 3.1 billion (5.0 billion CHF). Together with a previously acquired 1.4 million shares, Swisscom now owns 82.4% of Fastweb and the total purchase price amounts to EUR 3.1 billion or CHF 5.1 billion.

Acquisition of 100% stake in Betty Holding AG
On 27 September 2006 Swisscom acquired a 100% share in the voting rights and a 65% share in the capital of Betty Holding AG. Betty Holding AG (Zurich) holds 100% of Betty Technology AG (Zug), Betty TV AG (Munich) and Betty TV Entwicklungs- und Dienstleistungs GmbH (Munich). Betty is a provider of remote control devices for interactive television.

On 3 August 2006 Swisscom acquired a 100% stake in Swapcom (France). Swapcom develops software solutions and is specialised in server-side software architecture in the area of mobile communications field.

Purchase of a 100% stake in Comit
On 4 January 2006, Swisscom IT Services acquired 100% of the equity of the banking IT specialist Comit AG. The purchase price was CHF 78 million.

Purchase of a 100% stake in Cybernet
On 20 October 2005, Swisscom Fixnet signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the equity of Internet service provider Cybernet (Schweiz) AG. Following the approval of the competition authorities, the acquisition took place on 22 March 2006 for a purchase price of CHF 15 million.

On 28 February 2006, Swisscom Solutions AG acquired the Siemens Switzerland business units responsible for telephone systems and IP communications platforms for medium-sized and large business customers. The purchase price was CHF 24 million.

As of 19 December 2003, Swisscom acquired 100% of the equity of T-Systems Card Services AG from T-Systems Schweiz AG. T-Systems Card Services AG was renamed Billag Card Services AG at the time of the acquisition. This business unit is now part of the subsidiary Accarda AG.
