We are committed to vocational training. And as lead sponsor of Swiss Ski, we foster close ties with both professional and amateur athletes.

2. Which standards does Swisscom follow?
Swisscom employs a variety of instruments to ensure the company's sustainable development. Our tried-and-tested management systems comply with ISO standards. These systems - for quality management (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001), information security management (ISO 27001) - and the standard for assessing processes (ISO 15504) ensure the integration of our products and services into our sustainable development management system.

4. How important is the subject of sustainability?
We express our responsibility as a company by taking into account economic, ecological and social factors as well as our long-term commitments. This responsibility to develop in a sustainable manner shapes our identity and our commitment towards our stakeholder groups. External commitments are an important part of Swisscom's environmental strategy. We are involved in a number of projects as a partner:
- Solar Impulse (project promoting the use of solar energy)
- WWF Climate Group (project aimed at reducing CO2 emissions)
- Smaragd Network (European network working to protect endangered fauna)
- Swiss National Park (promotion of nature conservation)

7. Which environmental standards and policies does Swisscom follow?
Since our environmental system was first certified in accordance with ISO 14001 back in 1991, we now have a system in place which is based on four pillars:
- Environmental legislation and environmental risks
- Environmental aspects and environmental impacts associated with the operation of telecommunication services
- Promotion and development of products and services which are explicitly environmentally friendly
- Dialogue with various stakeholder groups
