Wrestling is an Alpine tradition and perhaps the most quintessentially Swiss sport. And it is in no way outdated. On the contrary: people of all ages still love wrestling. This Swiss festival takes place every three years and is the highlight of the wrestling calendar. Between 30 august and 1 september 2013, Burgdorf  will be the place to watch traditional sports such as wrestling, Hornussen and stone throwing. Around 150,000 spectators are expected.

Swisscom is the telecoms partner of the Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Games Festival and ensures that communication at the festival site works perfectly. For visitors, the media and the organisers.
