Ecomode plus: Low-radiation fixed network telephone
Exclusively from Swisscom: when in standby mode, the Ecomode plus wireless phone emits no radiation. During a phone call, radiation is reduced by as much as 80%. Its power adapter consumes 60% less electricity than conventional units.

Less radiation for mobile phones
Swisscom designates UMTS-enabled mobile phones with low SAR values as low radiation. The amount of radiation can be further cut if you use a headset and when reception is good.

Solidarcomm: Mobile phone recycling
With a 2-year useful life for a mobile phone, "grey" energy makes up 60% of the total energy balance. The longer the useful life, the more ecological the mobile phone. Together with Terre des Hommes, Swisscom has developed the Solidarcomm programme, whereby used mobile phones get a second lease of life. Sales proceeds go to Terre des Hommes Switzerland.

Centro grande: Energy-efficient WLAN router
In standby mode, the Centro grande consumes more than 25% less power than previous models. Even more is saved if the WLAN is turned off when not needed - either at the touch of a button or with Swisscom's online scheduler.

Remote control socket
You save most energy if electrical appliances are disconnected from the mains when not in use either by unplugging them or using the remote control socket from Swisscom.
