The intelligent use of ICT can reduce worldwide CO2 emissions by 15% according to a study by McKinsey/GeSI. ICT services can be used to run households, transport systems, electricity grids and whole cities more efficiently. For example, we offer our customers climate-friendly conference calls and video conferencing. How do these services help the climate? They reduce customers' CO2 emissions and are provided on the Swisscom network using 100% eco-power from solar, wind and hydro energy.
