According to a study by WWF Europe, the intelligent use of ICT (information and communication technologies) could lead to a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions in Europe. ICT services can be used to run households, transport systems, electricity grids and whole cities more efficiently. For example, we offer our customers climate-friendly conference calls and video conferencing. How do these services help the climate? They reduce customers' CO2 emissions and are provided on the Swisscom network using 100% eco-power from solar, wind and hydro energy. These criteria for our pro-climate services were drawn up with the WWF.
