There are eight million old mobiles unused in Swiss households - and most of these still work perfectly. The Swisscom Mobile Aid campaign transforms your discarded mobile into a valuable donation for people in need. The devices are resold on the international used mobile market, and 100% of the proceeds go to Terre des Hommes Switzerland. Don't worry: all your personal data is deleted first.
 

This is how Swisscom Mobile Aid works

 

 1.
   Swisscom collects old mobiles in all Swisscom shops.
 
 2.
   The devices are then transported to a social organisation in Switzerland (e.g. to the Réalise reintegration workshops). The devices are sorted here and carefully prepared for resale. All personal data is deleted. Defective devices are recycled of in an environmentally friendly way.
 
 3.
   Devices that are in working order are resold to countries with limited purchasing power
 
 4.
  

All the proceeds from the resale go to Terre des Hommes Switzerland and réalise and support children in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
 
5.   Our partners operate the mobile phone return programme under the name "Solidarcomm".
