Energy consumption is a subject which concerns us all - at Swisscom too. Our company is one of the ten biggest consumers of electricity in Switzerland. We are currently introducing measures to use resources such as electricity, fuel and waste more efficiently. For example, we have reduced the CO2 emissions of our vehicles and office buildings to 44% of 1998 levels. We also promote renewable energies; Swisscom consumes more eco-power from wind and solar energy than any other company in Switzerland.
