Nine of our suppliers' projects have made it to the nomination stage. The judges chose three winners. The winners and finalists for each category are:
Innovation category winner:
FutureLAB AG "dynaMAN"
20 to 30 percent of all technical requests received by Swisscom are about setting up e-mail clients. The Customer Care tool DynaMAN provides end customers with an automated personalised guide. The ratio of costs (40,000 CHF) to value for the company (1 - 1.5 million CHF annually) is overwhelming.

ec4u expert consulting (schweiz) ag "Whitebox"
“Prime Partner” selected for CRM implementation services 2011. In contrast to the conventional Blackbox model, ec4u advisors adopt a transparent Whitebox approach, and are thus remarkable for their very close, flexible and swift cooperation.
Sustainability category winner:
Cisco Systems (Switzerland) ltd. "Smart Secure Living"
Thanks to SSL electricity and heating consumption in the home can be optimised and safety functions used. SSL helps older persons to lead independent lives. SSL runs on a “Flexpod” system-optimised server infrastructure.
Innovation category finalists:
Fastlog AG "Fastchecker"
Fully automated test software for checking set-top boxes. Its speed saves Swisscom 300,000 CHF annually, and up to 5 million thanks to ‘repairing instead of throwing-away’.
COMMSCOPE - Andrew Kommunikationssysteme AG "Intrain repeater"
Allows you to make calls and send data in trains. The system is self-configuring, signals faults itself, and is easy to repair. The innovation generates cost savings in the high six-figure region.
Partnership category finalists:
FROX communication AG Atiras – management platform for Swisscom’s corporate customers
Atiras is a solution for running Unified Communications environments economically. Frox provides advice, concepts, implementation, training and maintenance all from under the one roof, and is thus distinguished by its proactive service performance.
Pentag Informatik AG "ADEV-Another Device"
The aim was to develop an app in time for the launch of the iPad to allow customers to manage their subscriptions. Pentag demonstrated a high level of flexibility and close customer contact, and impressed with its adroit handling of Apple’s restrictive specifications.
Sustainability category finalists:
Siemens Enterprise Communications AG "VoIP4Zurich"
Switchover of the telephony at Zurich city administration to a homogeneous VoIP solution based on energy-efficient virtualised servers, and running on sustainable hardware. The project protects the environment and saves money.
dcs datacenter services ag New data centre building IT product
DCS presents a new style of architecture for high-speed computer centres: it is not only highly flexible, but also saves energy at the centre. Swisscom saves 1.5 million kWh per year, reducing its CO2 emissions by 231 t/year and energy costs by 195,000 CHF per year.
