Send and receive e-mails via Webmail in your browser

You can also use your Bluewin e-mail address with Webmail without having to use an e-mail programme. This allows you to access your e-mails quickly and easily from any computer with Internet access.

Using Webmail

To send or receive e-mails, you need to log in using your Swisscom Login.

If you do not yet have a Swisscom DSL connection or Bluewin e-mail address, you can create an e-mail address free of charge.

Exiting Webmail

You should log off when you exit Webmail. This ensures that nobody can read or edit your e-mails. To log out click on “Logout” in the top right of the Webmail window.

Maximum attachment sizes

The maximum size for attachments is 15 MB.

Sending e-mails to multiple addresses

Enter the different e-mail addresses in the “To” field, separated by commas. You can also click on “To” and select several addresses from your address book.

Importing your addresses into Webmail

First you need to export your contacts from Outlook, Windows Mail, etc. into a file. Consult the Help section in your e-mail programme to find out how to do this or contact Amico Support. Then click on the “Address book” tab in Webmail, followed by “Import / Export” (in the menu on the left-hand side). After you have saved/exported the file, you can import it into Webmail using the “Browse” button.

Creating and deleting personal folders

In the Webmail window click on “My folders” (in the left-hand menu). In the folder overview you can create new folders with “Create” or delete highlighted folders with “Delete”.

Responding to an error message

It is possible for an e-mail to leave the Swisscom e-mail server without reaching the recipient (in particular if the recipient’s address is incorrect). The recipient’s e-mail servers usually returns a message stating that the address is unknown. Check the entire e-mail address and resend the message.

Deleting e-mails when your storage capacity has been reached

Look through all your folders (including the “Sent Items” folder) for e-mails that you no longer need. To do so click on the relevant folder in the left-hand menu. There you can sort your e-mails by size by clicking on the small arrow facing downwards next to the word “Size” at the far right in the list. In this way, you can identify the largest e-mails which will free up the most space when you delete them.

Preventing Webmail from consolidating all e-mail accounts

Swisscom assumes that all e-mail addresses assigned to one subscription (and therefore to one Swisscom Login) are used by the same person. If you would like to change this (for example, if family members would like to have their own e-mail account), you can transfer e-mail addresses and set up a separate Swisscom Login for them.
