Internet access

Products concerned: iPhone , iPhone 3G , iPhone 3GS , iPhone 4 , iPhone 4S

There are three options for connecting to the Internet from your iPhone:

  1. Via the mobile phone network with best coverage

  2. Via private WLAN, your wireless Internet access at home.

  3. Via a Swisscom hotspot, our public Internet access (Public Wireless LAN). This connection is faster and more stable than mobile phone network connections.

Use of the mobile phone network and Swisscom hotspot is deducted from the data volume included in your surfing subscription.

How to set up Internet access via private WLAN

  1. Go to the programme settings

  2. Select "General", then "WLAN"

  3. Wait briefly until the iPhone locates your network and select it. If required, enter the password* and select "Connect".

* The required WLAN key is available from the Swisscom customer center.
