Using your iPhone as a modem (tethering)

Use your iPhone to connect your notebook to the Internet and enjoy wireless Internet surfing anywhere. Data transmission is billed via the credit on your NATEL® liberty surfing subscription.

Prerequisite

The table lists models that are ready for the “Personal Hotspot” function, and the connections for setting up a mobile data connection to other devices.

Using your iPhone as a modem

Step 1
Open the “Settings” menu on your iPhone

Step 2
Select “Personal Hotspot”.

Step 3
Click on “Wi-Fi password”.

Step 4
Enter a new password
(min. eight characters).

Step 5
To activate or deactivate your personal hotspot, tap "Settings”, followed by “Personal Hotspot”.

Note

You cannot change the name of your personal hotspot. When activated, it is visible to third parties.
