Three-way conference


You can at any time during the conversation invite any third person to join you and allow them to participate in your conversation.

It's easy to invite a third party to a three-way conference

Either as a caller or receiver of the call: You can now set up – and end – a three-way conference easily and smoothly through your telephone keypad. If you are in Switzerland, you can in both situations also initiate international three-way conferences.

Charges

The three-way conference is free of charge for EconomyLINE and MulitLINE ISDN, only the costs of both connections are charged to your account. There is no contract or any formalities.

Setting up a conference

Setting up (during call) 1. • or press R, await dial tone.
2. Choose the number you wish to call, await connection.
3. • or press R, await dial tone, enter 3. . 
End 1. Hang up receiver (both connections are cut off).   
Or... 1. • or press R, await dial tone.
2. press 2 (the 1st connection is put on hold and the 2nd one is active).
3. • or press R and enter 2, to switch between them.  
Terminate the first con-nection 1. • or press R, await dial tone.
2. press 0 (2nd connection remains active).
Ending second connection 1. • or press R, await dial tone.
2. press 1 (1st connection is active)
 
Use of the three-way conference depends on the connection and terminal devices.

EconomyLINE

Use with EconomyLINE requires a terminal device with tone dialling. You recognise this by the keys * and #. Some additional services require your terminal device to have a flash/control key • or R.

MultiLINE ISDN

Operation with ISDN-terminal devices is menu-driven and therefore even easier. If anything is unclear, please consult your ISDN terminal device operating instructions.
