The emergency call equipment triggers an alarm by telephone. Up to eight pre-programmed telephone numbers are dialled at the press of a button on the wristband transmitter. If a receiver does not answer, TeleAlarm®S12 automatically dials the next number until somebody takes the call. Thanks to the hands-free kit, the person taking the emergency call can talk to the person needing help and immediately initiate the necessary action.

A passive presence check is also possible with the Well function: the device prompts users to press a button at regular intervals; if this doesn't happen, an alarm is automatically triggered.
