If your mobile phone is no longer working properly it may be because the device software is not up-to-date. This software is installed on your mobile phone and controls all functions. The device software is updated when the software installed is overwritten by a new version.

Update using your computer

Many mobile phone manufacturers provide an application on their homepage that you can download and install on your computer. The device software is updated using a cable connection to the mobile phone. Follow the update instructions on your phone manufacturer’s homepage:

Update directly using your mobile phone

Some new devices support updating directly via the device menu. Your NATEL® connects to the device manufacturer’s server and downloads the required software. If you require further information please refer to the operating instructions for your device. The data communication involved will be charged at the applicable tariff.
