Using iPhone as a modem

Use your iPhone to connect your notebook to the Internet and enjoy wireless Internet surfing anywhere, anytime.
Data transmission is charged for via the credit on your NATEL® liberty surf subscription.

Requirements

You iPhone must have the OS 3.0 operating system or a newer version. Devices purchased from summer 2009 onwards already have the right operating system. Older devices can be altered free of charge to the new version. Connect your iPhone with iTunes. Installation of the new operating system will be offered automatically.

To use the iPhone as a modem we recommend the NATEL® data flat option.

How do I use iPhone as a modem?

Step 1 In settings, go to “General”, “Network” and click on “Internet tethering”.
Step 2 Push the Internet tethering switch to the right in order to activate the modem function.
Step 3 Now activate Bluetooth or connect your iPhone to your computer with a USB cable and follow the instructions on your iPhone.
