Multiple devices You can receive Swisscom TV plus with multiple Swisscom TV boxes (liable to charges) and on multiple TV sets.

TV-Guide The Swisscom TV Guide is displayed directly on your TV screen and shows the programme guide for the next few days.

Record
(via Swisscom TV-Guide)		 Choose the desired programme in the listing on your TV screen and press “Record” on the remote control. You can record over 100 hours.

Programming series This function lets you record each episode of an entire series automatically with the touch of a single button.

Live-Pause Now you can now watch TV with a time delay – so you don't need to miss a single scene: just stop the programme you are watching and start it again later from the same place.

In order to receive Swisscom TV, you require a DSL connection from Swisscom. If you do not have a DSL connection, you can order one right away with Swisscom TV. As soon as you have a DSL connection from Swisscom, you can give up any other cable connections – in future you can watch TV via the Internet line.

As an integral component of Swisscom TV plus, you get a TV box with integrated hard disk (on loan) after your order. So you can record up to 100 hours of programmes and receive HD channels.

Swisscom TV on multiple TV sets

If you want to receive Swisscom TV plus on multiple TV sets, you can order additional TV boxes for CHF 10.- per month.

They have the same functions as the first TV box with the exceptions of Live Pause and the recording/playback of programmes in HD quality.  If you have more than one TV box, you can access all your recordings from every TV box in your household, and you can also program recordings from every TV box.

Self installation

Swisscom TV can be installed with a minimum of fuss. All the equipment and cables that you need for installation come free with the delivery.

Home installation by an engineer (one-off payment of CHF 290.-)

The following services are included in the home installation by an engineer:

  • Installation of a digital socket DSL, a modem (WLAN router) and the Swisscom TV box.
  • Connection of the Swisscom TV box to a (nearby) home cinema or stereo system.
  • Demonstration on operating Swisscom TV.
There are additional costs if you want multiple TV boxes at the same time or want to have them installed subsequently by a specialist.

Connection kit

If the distance between your modem and the Swisscom TV box is too great or you do not want to lay a conventional network cable, we offer the following optional alternative connections:

  • Optical connection kit (over cables)
  • Powerline connection kit (over mains supply)
  • Wireless connection kit
  • HDTV wireless connection kit
