The Center for Young Professionals in Banking (CYP) is the training and competence centre for basic banking training.

Award ceremony

The award ceremony shall take place on the occasion of the third Swiss Dialogue Arena on 6 September 2012 in the Zurich Hallenstadion.

Category «Efficient teamwork»

You are using a modern, integrated communication and collaboration solution. This allows for more effective and efficient corporate communications. Thus the solution leads to easier and better collaboration between employees, customers and partners.

Category «Mobility»

By mobilizing business processes and eliminating media discontinuity you have increased productivity. The reaction times are shorter – customer and employee satisfaction has increased.
 

The criteria.

You are using a solution by Swisscom or a Swisscom partner. The panel of expert judges will assess your ICT project according to three main criteria:
 

Sustainability:

  • What savings have you made in terms of transport and energy consumption?
  • How much importance is sustainability awarded within your company in general?
  • How do you position yourself in terms of sustainability aspects compared with your competitors?

Demonstrable business benefits:

  • What quantifiable business benefits have you achieved with your project?
  • To what extend have the business requirements been met?
  • What competitive advantages have you achieved with your project?

Technology: :

  • To what extent has your solution been integrated into the existing ICT framework?
  • What future prospects are inherent in the technology / solution?
  • How do you manage technological risks?

Weighting:

There is no weighting within the criteria. The overall impression given by your project and your company must be exemplary.

The Swisscom Business Award enjoys a good reputation within professional circles. Its winners and finalists profit from a considerable presence in the relevant media across Switzerland. Their performance is talked about – they gain prestige and prominence.

Prizes totalling CHF 100 000 in value.

The six finalists will receive the VIP status at Swisscom, as well as membership in the award finalists community – equating to CHF 10 000 in value. In addition to the above the two category winners are also awarded individual Swisscom services. Total value of the winning prizes: CHF 35 000 each.
