Free Internet access for guests in Migros restaurants

Swisscom is to equip over 180 Migros restaurants with wireless Internet by the middle of this year, allowing guests to surf the web free of charge for up to two hours. This will bring the total number of WLAN hotspots operated by Swisscom across Switzerland to around 1,700.

In September 2011, we awarded Logifleet AG a special sustainability award as part of the Swisscom Business Award. Logifleet impressed us and the expert jury with its “LogiFleet Report” solution which, to date, has allowed the company to save the annual consumption of around 3,800 cars.

Swisscom expands Managed Communications & Collaboration offering to include Cisco solution

Swisscom is therefore expanding its existing Managed Communications & Collaboration (MCC) services to include a Cisco solution. This will provide customers with an alternative to the existing Microsoft offering. Construction company Cellere is the first customer to opt for the Cisco solution.
