Secure integration of iPhone and iPad with Swisscom Remote Access Service

Has your company been considering the topic of the secure integration of iPhones and iPads in your corporate network for a while? With the Remote Access Service (RAS), Swisscom offers a tried-and-tested solution for achieving this integration securely and reliably.

The Swisscom Remote Access Service enables you to integrate employees who want to work with an iPhone or iPad securely in your corporate network. Thanks to the IPSec client integrated by Apple in the iOS operating system, you can use our Cisco-based RAS Internet VPN Access Option to connect your iPhones or iPads with your corporate network simply and securely. An encrypted tunnel (IPSec) is set up between the device and the IPSec terminators on the Swisscom platform, which then reliably routes the traffic to your corporate network via the LAN Interconnect Service. As a result, your employees can use travel and waiting times productively, for example to edit emails or documents for scheduling. This raises efficiency and, at the same time, increases the availability of your specialists.

Did you know that the Swisscom RAS Service for iPhones and iPads can also be configured and rolled out for several devices simultaneously with the Mobile Device Service?
