Bordier & CieICT risks analysed within just a few days.
The philosophy of the Geneva-based private bank Bordier & Cie is to offer bespoke wealth management solutions. Maximum security is required even for day-to-day correspondence. The technical head of information technology engaged Swisscom to carry out an ICT risk assessment. Bordier & Cie wanted a second, independent expert opinion for a comprehensive Security Health Check. Swisscom examined the controls that were in place and compared them with other private banks. To do this, they used a specially customised questionnaire and additional network scans. Within just a few days Swisscom had weighted the most important findings according to the action to be taken and summarised these in a report. The weaknesses that existed were highlighted and possible solutions proposed. “We can use the opinion of independent experts to show our external partners where action is required,” concluded Bordier & Cie.
