CTA is a leading Swiss company in the production and sale of air conditioners, refrigerating machines and heat pumps. Upon opening two new sites, CTA reviewed its ICT infrastructure. Rather than simply optimizing individual components, the company decided on an end-to-end solution from Swisscom. As a result, CTA has been able to reduce expense and optimise its processes.

The solution comprises the corporate network (LAN), site networking (WAN) and VoIP telephony – complete with an all-round service for support and updates – at a fixed monthly price. CTA uses a single network for voice and data, benefits from lower call costs, and no longer has to worry about technical details.

Following the implementation of a mobile corporate network, all CTA employees can now call one another free of charge. What’s more, field sales staff can use mobile business devices to record jobs, orders or invoices immediately on site and forward the data online to the head office. Electronic reporting thus simplifies processes and increases efficiency.
