With 120 stores, around 450 employees and what is probably the largest e_shop in the country, Ex Libris is the Swiss market leader in entertainment media. All stores are managed from the head office. As their technological equipment gave rise to bottlenecks in the company’s ISDN-based communications network, a new solution was needed to facilitate data exchange.

With One NetBase from Swisscom, Ex Libris now has sufficient bandwidth, not to mention a powerful, future-oriented ICT basis. Each store obtains a complete communications package for a fixed monthly price including WAN, LAN and Voice over IP as well as the connection of POS systems and new Telekurs card terminals

Ex Libris is convinced that it has chosen the right solution, as data is available everywhere at all times even during peaks, remote access makes technical support much more straightforward, and the flat-rate model also relieves the strain on the administrative side.
