ImpleniaSmart ideas for facility management

Mobile data solutions from Swisscom have been accelerating work on Implenia’s construction sites for years. Managers asked themselves how these solutions could be used to develop new business for technical facility management.

Together with Swisscom, Swiss IT-Factory developed a pilot system for efficient building monitoring for Implenia. Wherever they are, the Implenia engineers can keep track of the building they are responsible for. As a result, they are able to remotely monitor and control heating systems or process fault reports from air conditioning or lift systems, for example.

The advantages of the solution that could transform technical facility management are clear: Numerous journeys to the buildings are no longer necessary, and a huge amount of time can be saved when operating systems or reporting messages. In addition, the environment benefits from the intelligent use of mobile technology, as the operation of systems with a high energy consumption is optimised.
