RSIA leap into the future with no investments: end-to-end Voice over IP solution for rsi

Radiotelevisione svizzera (RSI), or rtsi, produces and transmits radio and TV programs for Italian-speaking Switzerland. rtsi issued a bid invitation to several providers for an end-to-end design for migrating the company’s entire telephony to a modern IP platform. Swisscom won the company over with a complete and economical solution. The solution includes not only planning, development and implementation of the new VoIP platform, but also certain aspects of maintenance. Instead of investing in hardware and software, rtsi uses the new solution for a transparent, fixed monthly price.

The company, based in Ticino, is set to continuously benefit from the latest VoIP technology over the next eight years, guaranteed by the updates and includes that form an integral part of the end-to-end solution. Managing the individual connections has become much easier, and user friendliness when making or receiving calls has been substantially increased, which also means increased efficiency.
