Tradition is uniquely combined with modern flair at the Seeburg Hotel, located on the shores of idyllic Lake Lucerne. This four-star hotel offers an unforgettable experience to guests from around the world. As perfect service forms a key part of the hotel’s company culture, it must also be reflected in the way customers are served on the phone. For this reason, the hotel’s managers entrusted Swisscom with designing and installing a new telephony solution.

With the old telephone system, the Seeburg Hotel was increasingly coming up against the limits of its capacity, especially during seasonal peaks in calls. From the point of view of the hotel’s managers, the aim of the new solution was not only to guarantee reliable operation around the clock, but also to benefit from new technical possibilities including incorporation of the front office application into the telephony solution and a cross-system voicemail service. Thanks to these and many other features, numerous processes now run more smoothly.

Those in charge at the hotel are highly impressed by the new solution, as it enables guests to be served even better than before. What’s more, tasks such as changing over workplaces and transferring numbers can now be carried out quickly and easily at the click of a mouse. The new system is certainly ready to face up to the challenges of the future.
