My career began in catering. I then did stints in acting, journalism and psychology. I wanted to understand what makes people tick – and how they find their path in life.
Now, I head up Worklink, a subsidiary of Swisscom. We support people going through career transitions: talents, managers, people who want – or need – to change course. Transition is rarely about making huge leaps. In most cases, it’s about taking small, courageous steps – simply to get moving again.
I don’t believe in generic career paths. Everyone’s journey is different. That’s exactly what makes my work so exciting. Trust also plays a crucial role. I’m privileged enough to support people when they’re letting go of a lot – and sometimes starting afresh. For me, leadership means creating space for just that. And never standing still yourself.
