I took home a silver medal at last year’s World Championships, and now I have my sights set on the Paralympics in Los Angeles in 2028. At this level, every detail counts; you’re unlikely to see massive jumps in progress.
I completed my commercial apprenticeship in sport with Swisscom some ten years ago now, and have worked for the company on a flexible basis ever since. This working model enables me to follow my sporting ambitions just as passionately as my professional ones, thanks to the flexibility and trust we have within the team and the wider company.
What drives me goes far beyond just results. In sport, I see how people’s perceptions change as performance becomes more visible. That’s when the wheelchair takes a backseat, making room for new perspectives and wider acceptance – impact that ripples out far beyond the sport.
