“Sustainability is not an either-or matter.”

Discussions about sustainability often present it as incompatible with economic growth. And yet, its value only truly shines through when the two concepts are combined. This was precisely the case when Swisscom switched its fleet to electric vehicles in a process that involved different perspectives, open questions and discussions. Today, the decision has justified itself from both an environmental and an economic perspective.

My role places me at the intersection of sustainability, business and strategy. Progress drives me: the desire to understand problems and develop solutions. For me, a good day is one on which we have moved forwards.

I find balance by heading out into nature. Many things become clearer when hiking or fishing, and the complexity of everyday life comes back into perspective.
