Whether at Swisscom or at my cat salon, leadership means taking responsibility and creating an environment in which people can grow.
My two Siberian cats have taught me that caring is so much more than just feeding and stroking. Even cats need a bath from time to time, which I found fascinating. I love learning new things and applying them straight away. That’s why I trained as a cat groomer and opened my own salon in Zurich, called Cat InStyle. I now have two employees and share my knowledge on training courses.
In my main job, I work at Swisscom as a Scrum Master in a hybrid team from Kriens, Zurich and Riga. I facilitate, analyse and support the processes. And I also take responsibility, even in uncomfortable situations. It’s important that my team is doing well. But it’s also important that they make a difference. As a leader, my role is to strike a balance between these two objectives. Every situation helps me to grow and develop my own leadership style.
