I want to support others, not control them. My aim? For people to go home safe and sound at the end of the day.
For 25 years, I’ve been committed to helping everyone at Swisscom work safely. My job takes me all over Switzerland: I climb on roofs and inspect fall protection solutions for antennas and solar installations. I furthermore develop safety concepts and plan the safety and security for events like the Swisscom Games, in which over four thousand employees participate. There are lots of aspects of my work that people don’t see – and that’s exactly how it should be.
I particularly enjoy running courses on various safety and security-related topics and passing on my knowledge. That’s a privilege for me. Safety and security are a joint effort – they require open dialogue with others and everyone to play their part.
When I want to switch off, I do some DIY on our home or build remote-controlled model boats or cars. This helps me arrange my thoughts.
