For me, there is more to cybersecurity than just technology – what really makes the difference is the people who safeguard and develop the systems.
Good protection comes from sharing knowledge. I ensure that we are able to assess risks, identify threats in good time and react quickly. To achieve this, I bring people together from all areas of the company. My team is formed when it is needed. I network, support, listen and help where I can.
At Swisscom, I am given the space to learn new things, pass on my knowledge and empower others. And it is the same approach in the “Women in Cyber” community – which I co-founded in a bid to connect women who either work in cybersecurity already or are looking for a way in. Alongside my main role, I also act as a tutor and give lectures, and I am a whitehat hacker.
I find balance in music and drawing, and in the cockpit, flying over the clouds. These activities bring me peace and focus, which I can draw on in my day-to-day life.
