SOC Operations Engineer

As a Security Operations Engineer at Switzerland’s largest Security Operation Center (SOC), you will be prepared to detect and successfully defend against cyber attacks on our B2B customers. You will be in close contact with our customers and take care of troubleshooting and implement changes and be involved in security-related projects. Thanks to our wide range of products and varied selection of B2B customers, you can constantly develop further. A highly motivated team will help you to do so.

SOC Operations - Michael (01:17)

What you have to offer

  • Practical experience in an SOC or IT operations
  • Knowledge of firewall, proxy, cloud security, VPN (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Bluecoat, F5)
  • Impeccable reputation and residence in Switzerland
  • Very good spoken and written German; good English; French would be an advantage

Security Engineering

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating and supporting IAM solutions for our customers. You will work closely with other teams and customers to ensure smooth interfaces. You will also be responsible for creating technical and operational specifications and implementing specialised requirements.

What you have to offer

  • Completed training (EFZ) in computer science or comparable training with further training (HF/FH) in computer science or business informatics
  • Several years of experience in the field of IAM; knowledge of the Airlock Suite is an advantage
  • Very good German and English; French an advantage

Security Consultant & Coach

Swisscom Security Consultants advise B2B customers comprehensively, supported by an ecosystem of experts, in order to minimise cyber risks. Internally, we have our security coaches at Group Security for this purpose. We offer both our customers and internal departments topic-specific consulting, for example in the cloud security context, as well as general security assessments in order to quickly identify potential vulnerabilities and determine risks. All with the aim of comprehensively protecting the information and IT infrastructure for our customers and ourselves.

What you have to offer

  • 5 years experience in security consulting for medium-sized and large companies
  • Very good knowledge of IT security architectures, risk management and concepts
  • Customer-orientated and the ability to actively listen and conduct in-depth analyses of customer requirements
  • Very good written and spoken German and English, French an advantage

Security Architect

You are part of our Application Security Architecture Advisory team that works according to agile methods and enjoys customer-centered IT security challenges. You advise external and internal customers on application security architecture and you speak at events such as conferences and meetups.

Security Architect Advisory – Phippu (02:22)

What you have to offer

  • Passionate Solution Architect with a hands-on attitude and strong technical background
  • You have experience in implementing security controls at system level (Security and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, IAM, KMS, Security Monitoring & Auditing) as well as at software level to ensure overall security
  • Knowledge in the areas of IT security architecture, risk management and security concepts

Security Responder

The Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) intervenes in cyber attacks to minimize damage for B2B customers. We coordinate all related measures, from analysis to resolution of the incident. As a team, we work closely with the SOC, security consultants and other specialists. Once the incidents have been dealt with, we identify measures and help to continuously improve the security arrangements of our B2B customers.

Security Response - Mano (01:54)

What you have to offer

  • 5 years experience in security incident response/incident handling (CSIRT or SOC)
  • A good understanding of how security services can support business and pave the way for new approaches
  • Extensive expertise in various technologies (e.g. Unix, Windows, network, middleware)
  • Very good German and English; French would be an advantage

Security Analyst

Thanks to the Security Operation Center (SOC), cyber attacks on our B2B customers are detected as quickly as possible. As a security analyst, you will identify and combat cyber attacks and actively help improve the detection and response to cyber threats. You will work in a heterogeneous and highly motivated team that constantly acquires new knowledge due to new threats and changing tactics of the attackers.

Security Analysis - Stefan (01:24)

What you have to offer

  • 5 years experience in a cyber defence environment, as a security analyst, incident handler or detection engineer
  • Knowledge of log analysis, EDR, SIEM and SOAR, and experience with cloud security solutions from Microsoft & AWS
  • User knowledge of query languages such as Splunk SPL, Elastic Query DSL, Microsoft KQL
  • Very good German and English; French would be an advantage

DevOps Engineer Security

As a DevOps Engineer in the Security Operation Center, you are part of the Swisscom Security Services which we provide for companies from a wide range of sectors. This will give you an insight into a large number of different IT infrastructures and ensure that your day-to-day work is varied. As a member of the DevOps team, you will further develop our security services and contribute automation and improvements wherever possible.

Security DevOps - Johannes (01:14)

What you have to offer

  • Strong CI/CD experience (Jenkins) and experience in DevOps methods
  • Know-how in working with SIEM (Splunk, ELK), scripting (Python, Java Script) and automation; SOAR would be an advantage
  • Splunk certifications (Power User, Certified Architect) and knowledge of DevOps, versioning (Git) and other Atlassian tools
  • Very good German and English; French would be an advantage

Cyber Security Sales

The Swisscom Cyber Security Sales Team acquires new business customers in the area of cyber security services. We support our clients throughout the entire acquisition cycle: From developing the solution to drawing up and presenting the offer and the signing of the contract. In doing so, we draw on our extensive B2B security portfolio. Above all, this includes fully managed security services.

Security Sales - Markus (01:47)

What you have to offer

  • Proven experience in ICT security technologies
  • Networked and holistic thinking; quick on the uptake
  • Sales flair, excellent presentation skills, winning presence and storytelling, enthusiasm and an open personality
  • Very good German and English; French would be an advantage

Product Manager

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for providing security services to business customers. We define and develop services according to market needs and guarantee the marketing and profitability of the product throughout its life cycle. You act as an entrepreneur within Swisscom and implement the necessary measures to make your services attractive and effective.

  • Product Management Experience and in-depth knowledge of security services (market, trends, products, operating models and technologies)
  • A persuasive, engaging and inclusive personality with good communication skills
  • Highly developed strategy and conception skills and the ability to understand complex issues
