Your online application is the first step on the road when you’re applying for an apprenticeship position at Swisscom – and it’s the most important one, too. Here’s your recipe for success:
Your application is the first impression we get of you – and your suitability for the role, not to mention your motivation to do the job. Make the most of this opportunity to stand out from the crowd.
Tell us why you are the perfect fit for Swisscom and why the career you are applying for is your dream job.
Is your application really complete? Cast your eye over it one last time to make sure all the required documents are included before you send off your application. The completeness checklist can help you ensure that nothing is missing.
If you’ve sent us a complete application, we will get in touch within 15 days, at most, to let you know whether we’re interested in taking your application further, and if so, what happens next.
If we like your application, it’s time for the second step in the application process: the face-to-face interview. This might take the form of a brief online discussion so we can clarify any issues relating to your application. Alternatively, you might have a job interview straight away, either online or in person. If you’re interested in an apprenticeship position in a Swisscom Shop or call centre, this interview will be followed by a day of work experience in a Swisscom Shop or call centre. No matter whether it takes place online or in person, the first interview is your opportunity to persuade us that you’re the right person for your desired position – and that you’ve got the qualifications to do it.
Congratulations: you’ve done it! Your training at Swisscom will start this coming summer, on the first working day after 1 August. As a result, you should arrange any family holidays to take place before this date.
What will your first few days at Swisscom look like? To start with, you’ll get to know your coaches and fellow apprentices. We’ll also show you the company and give you all the tools and information you’ll need so you can hit the ground running on your first project. We look forward to meeting you!
