Swisscom uses artificial intelligence in a targeted manner to improve its products and services. The automatic evaluation of collected data supports our marketing, customer service and network monitoring activities as well as security and legal compliance. This saves time and provides insights that allow us to provide our customers with an even better experience.
At Swisscom, we are proud that, with more than 250 highly qualified AI experts, one of the largest teams in Switzerland is working on and researching new applications for artificial intelligence. We are also constantly on the lookout for new specialists in this field.
Swisscom is working with leading universities in Switzerland and abroad to drive innovation in artificial intelligence. Since 2015, it has partnered with the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, the ETH in Zurich and the Idiap Research Institute and, since 2018, with the MIT in the USA.
Artificial intelligence presents completely new challenges for ethics and sustainability. In 2014, Swisscom set up an ethics committee to oversee all projects that process large amounts of data. The requirements and processes are constantly being developed in a transparent manner.
With our Swisscom StartUp Challenge initiative and our venture capital arm Swisscom Ventures, we are one of the largest and most active supporters of new companies working in the field of artificial intelligence.
We're there for you. Please don’t hesitate to contact us.
