Chief Technology Officer,
The term ‘growth hacking’ hadn’t yet been coined in 1998 when Hotmail generated 12 million accounts with their clever email signature in the shortest space of time. Meanwhile there probably aren't any start-ups that don’t try to incorporate marketing into their products with smart hacks. But which of these hacks inspires the crucial wow effect in customers? ‘Trial and error’ is the name of game when trying to get it right along the conversion funnel.
As Chief Technology Officer at start-up Siroop, Isabel Steiner is part of the team that uses smart growth hacks to increase the shopping platform's conversion rate on a small budget. After training as a primary teacher she completed a Master in Computer Sciences at the University of Bern. She began her professional career in 2004 as a Swisscom trainee, going on to hold different posts in Innovation, Strategy, Business Development and Human Centered Design.
