Swisscom – a living identity

Switzerland is a living thing, characterised by different languages and cultures. That is what makes it what it is. Swisscom has Switzerland and Swiss in its name. Part of the country’s history and identity, it strikes the balance between traditional values and a modern image like virtually no other brand.

The same applies to the Swisscom brand, which is why a dynamic, three-dimensional design - the life form - is at the centre of our identity. It is also why our logo is constantly in motion.

At the heart of our corporate design is the moving life form that characterises our logo. The life form symbolises the living relationship between our customers and our business. It expresses the fact that we are constantly endeavouring to strengthen and deepen this bond.

History of the brand

Our logo through the ages

Today’s logo is the 11th since 1849. From the first design until that of today, it has always reflected the company’s close relationship with Switzerland: through the Swiss cross until the mid-1990s, and with Switzerland in its name ever since.
