We fund both elite and grassroots sport. We rely on long-term partnerships while also sponsoring selected large events with national appeal.
Swisscom is the main sponsor of the Swiss skiing federation, Swiss-Ski and partner of various world championships in Switzerland. We help Swiss ski racers to achieve their best performances, and also supply them with branded ski clothing.
With the Swisscom Junior Team, we support young Alpine skiers on their way to the Youth World Championships. As the main sponsor of Swiss-Ski, our Swisscom Snow Talents programme supports promising young athletes on their way to the top. We award ten individual sponsorships, which, alongside financial support, provide the young skiers with a full kick-start package, including help designing a website, social media coaching, the assumption of telecommunications costs, VIP invites to selected events (concerts, football games etc.) and much more besides.
Through the sponsorship of the Swisscom SnowDays initiative, we are enabling 100,000 snow sport fans over the next years to experience a day in the Swiss Alps and promoting winter sport enjoyment for young and old.
Patrouille des Glaciers, the toughest, most challenging ski mountaineering race in the world, is the stuff of legend. Swisscom lends its technical expertise to this alpine endurance test, working closely with the Swiss Army to ensure complete connectivity along the entire 53-kilometre route from Zermatt to Verbier.
Swisscom is the main sponsor of Switzerland’s largest eSports team, mYinsanity Switzerland, and of the Swiss Esports Federation (SESF). In order to promote the growing gaming and eSports scene in Switzerland, Swisscom is launching the Swisscom Hero League with the support of the Electronic Sports League (ESL), an international eSports network.
