As a telecommunications service provider, we have access to large volumes of data that accrue as we provide our services. This applies both to the fixed network and the mobile network. Analysis procedures can be used to extract information from this data that can, in turn, serve to optimise business processes, further develop our existing services and create new products and services. When conducting these smart data analyses (also known as big data), we adhere to all applicable legal regulations and act with our responsibility to society in mind. When conducting smart data analyses for third parties, we use anonymised data exclusively. For example, we provide our customers with statistical information on traffic flows, traffic jam forecasts and evaluations on the attractiveness of sites. Personal data is only used in this context if you have given us your personal consent.
In the Customer Center you can exclude smart data applications with third parties (opt-out) for data that you have generated while using our services and products.
