Stefan Nünlist, presently Head of Communications and Energy Policy at Aare Tessin AG, is to become the new Head of Communications at Swisscom. The 39 year-old from Solothurn graduated in law from the University of Fribourg and obtained the licence to practice as an attorney and as a notary. After completing diplomatic training at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and holding various positions in Switzerland and abroad, Nünlist became the personal assistant of the heads of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Federal Councillors Delamuraz and Couchepin. Nünlist will take up his new position as Head of Corporate Communications at Swisscom in the middle of January 2001. There is also a new head at Investor Relations: Swisscom appointed Bart Morselt as the new head of investors and analyst relations. He will take up his position on 1 January 2001. Morselt is 34 years of age and comes from the Netherlands. He graduated from the University of Groningen in Finance & Economics. Morselt held various management positions over the past years at the Dutch company KPN Telecom, including Senior Controller at head office and, since the end of 1998, member of the management team at KPN´s Network Construction business unit. Between 1996 and 1998 Morselt was Investor Relations Manager at Cesky Telecom in Prag.
