Cool for children, comforting for parents:

NATEL® easy kid is targeted at parents who until now have hesitated to buy their children a mobile phone because of not being able to control the costs. Swisscom Mobile now offers such parents a product featuring a host of benefits: cost control, lower costs and increased safety thanks to parents and children being able to reach one another by phone. Prerequisite for NATEL® easy kid: possession by one parent of a Swisscom Mobile NATEL® subscription and an application for up to three NATEL® easy kid cards. Parents will have full control over costs since they will be responsible for determining the monthly amount (which is also variable) to load onto their children´s cards. Each month the parent must arrange for a fixed amount of between CHF 10 and CHF 100 to be automatically loaded onto the card. In addition they can deposit up to CHF 100 a month manually on the NATEL® easy kid card. These costs are then charged to the monthly bill for the father or mother´s subscription. NATEL® easy kid allows children to enter the world of mobile telephony and pay reasonable charges.

Prices and advantages

Calls over the NATEL® network or fixed network with NATEL® easy kid cost 60 cents a minute any time of the day or night, i.e. up to 40% less than with a normal NATEL® easy subscription. SMS messages cost 15 cents instead of 20 cents. NATEL® easy kid comes with all the benefits of the Swisscom Mobile NATELÒ product family: COMBOXÒ basic, SMS, NATELÒ InfoService and much more besides. NATEL® easy kid cannot be used for calls to 0900 numbers. The new product is available from 1 November 2001 via all current sales channels.
