28 August 2002

About Bang & Olufsen

Swisscom will stock Bang & Olufsen telephones in 75 shops in Switzerland from September 2002. The market position of Switzerland?s largest telecommunications provider, the location of the Swisscom shops and their wide range of products were decisive factors in successfully establishing a partnership with Bang & Olufsen.

Peter Eckhardt, Managing Director of Bang & Olufsen Telecom said, "Swisscom?s comprehensive range of products and services in the telecoms sector is ideal for building a platform in Switzerland."

Bang & Olufsen telephones are renowned for their modern and original designs. As part of the cooperative agreement, Swisscom will stock various analogue and digital (ISDN) designer telephones (wired and cordless). Swisscom is the only telecommunications partner in Switzerland to introduce these phones into its range.
