After each outgoing call (when abroad after each incoming call as well) NATEL® easy customers will receive a message via Flash SMS informing them of the call costs incurred and their current balance. A Flash SMS differs from a normal SMS in that it is even easier to manage: once read the message disappears automatically. It is not necessary to delete the message manually. The Flash SMS always contains the current data from the Swisscom Mobile billing system - only SMS services are calculated and displayed up to twenty minutes later.
The credit balance can be called up manually by entering *130# on the mobile phone's keypad followed by the send button (normally green). This activates a free network enquiry and the message appears on the display showing the remaining balance.
NATEL® easy customers can call freephone 00800 55 64 64 66 on their mobile phone and check their current balance in the "Your credit balance" menu.
All customers will be notified in advance by SMS about the change. "The new credit display will ensure that our Prepaid customers are always kept informed about how much the last call cost and how much credit is left after this call. This is a further improvement to our successful NATEL® easy offering which was launched in 1996," explains Christian Petit, Head of Product Marketing and member of the Swisscom Mobile Executive Board. The new credit display is also a prerequisite for expansion of the NATEL® easy product portfolio. This means that Swisscom Mobile will be able to offer its NATEL® easy customers GPRS and MMS usage before the end of the year.
